Spring Cleaning

This has been a busy week for my website. I went through and removed several illustrations (although I would like to put them into a separate gallery later), and I created a few new ones. Here are some of my latest editions.

Have you ever had an illustration that was just pure joy and ease to draw? Well, "Dragonfly" as I've been calling it, was one of those pictures. Days where drawings come together like this one remind me why I love art so much.

My "Modern Mermaid" illustration was a reworking of a marker drawing I did a while ago for the month of Mermay. It was one of those illustrations that I always intended to do more with, and I'm glad that I have gotten around to it.

This dragon illustration I just did because I love drawing dragons. I had a lot of fun with the light, pearly color pallette, and the whole image kind of reminded my of an opal.

And the final image I did I actually just completed tonight. It again, started as a marker drawing I did for the month of Mermay, and it was the illustration that my daughter requested I work on next. While I do love how it came out, I don't think this one will make it up on my gallery.
