New Project

Last post I shared a wip I had been working on. Well, it's mostly finished, I just want to have a look at it with fresh eyes to see if there is anything else I would like to touch up.

Earlier this week, I turned in the first draft to Whispering Pines book 4, so I currently have some time to turn my attention to a bigger illustration project that I've been playing around with for a little while. Here's some of my progress...

I like to start with some line art before coloring with Chameleon markers.

Here is one of the pages colored with Chameleon markers. I find it easier to color first with marker before transferring it over to the iPad.

And finally, here is a page I finished on my iPad in the ProCreate App.

Up until now, I've been mostly working on sketches for each page, outlining the whole story, and developing characters that I feel confident enough to draw over and over again in different poses. But now that I have time to focus on this project, I look forward to the new challenge. :)
